FORC, is the coat stand designed by LA GRANJA studio.
It is inspired by the traditional and elegant shape of a gentleman’s cane with a sculptural presence.
FORC is made up of solid wood canes of three different heights, allowing children to hang their coats without asking for help.
The iron piece that holds the structure in place makes it easy to hang an umbrella on the inside or a bag on the outside, by means of hook-shaped ends. The overall result is a hanger that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, offering 9 coat hooks and a support base.

Metallic structure
Two metal crosspieces made up of three 5 mm thick steel plates support the structure (or hanger).
The upper piece, which has hook-shaped ends, is located at an optimum height for children and is practical for hanging accessories.
The lower part has a 250 mm diameter disc made of 8 mm thick sheet steel for hanging bags.
Elements are TIG welded together.
Sets finished in textured epoxy powder paint 80 microns 30% matt, white RAL 9002 or anthracite grey RAL 7022.
The union of these parts with the wooden hangers is made with injected white or grey polyamide parts and stainless steel M5x12 allen screw.
Hanger
Formed by three turned bars of diameter 32 mm of three different heights: 176 cm, 157 cm, and 130 cm. It is finished with a “v” shaped piece of overall dimensions 225×125 mm, CNC machined. This shape optimises the capacity of the coat rack and provides comfort for the user. Its rounded and smooth shapes prevent unnecessary deformation of the garments.
All the elements are made of solid beech or oak wood finished in water-based varnish. The oak model with a walnut shade has an added stain.
